Salary: Competitive, based on experienceAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a laboratory fit-out project within a regulated environment. The role is based in Thailand and involves full life-cycle project ownership-from planning and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the opportunity for extension through the end of 2026 depending on project needs and individual performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a lab fit-out project in accordance with project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and qualification of lab equipment and utilities.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and applicable GMP/GxP guidelines where relevant.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, QA/QC, facilities, and end users) to align project execution with operational needs.
- Monitor project risks, implement mitigation plans, and manage change control processes.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience, preferably in lab construction or technical fit-out projects.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects within life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, lab infrastructure, and cleanroom/HVAC integration (if applicable).
- Able to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English is required; Thai language skills are a plus.
- Experience with GMP, ISO 14644, or GxP-compliant lab design and construction.
- Familiarity with commissioning and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) processes.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
