- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic portfolio plan that aligns IT deliveries with the business objectives of the Allianz Group.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse range of products, ensuring they meet the specific requirements and objectives.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget, financial performance, and resource allocation within a specific portfolio, optimizing operational costs and ensuring value for money.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders from Allianz Technology or Allianz operation entities (incl. C-Level), including the Allianz Technology Thailand leadership and internal teams, to understand their technology needs and provide proactive solutions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration while living the agile mindset.
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions (incl. reporting)
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may affect service delivery, business continuity, or data security.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that IT services adhere to industry regulations and security standards, particularly within the insurance sector.
- Vendor Relationships: Manage and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, if applicable, to ensure their services align with the portfolio's objectives.
- 15+ Years of experience, with a focus on IT and general management. Strong knowledge of the insurance industry a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of Insurance Industry Operations and IT opportunities along the value chain; knowledge of Insurance Business strategy, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern technology and Digital business models; Digital marketing, application delivery techniques including AGILE delivery, Cloud, DevSecOps and API integration strategies. Broad understanding of delivery and operations for Applications including the latest tooling and collaboration platforms.
- Good understanding of SDLC and DevSecOps practices
- Familiar with cloud environments and cloud native applications
- Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering practices
- GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of how Large Language Models work and where they can be applied
- Experience with AI powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q
- Agile mindset and strong focus on end-2-end delivery
- Demonstrated experience leading large scale international Technology transformation / change programs covering both technology delivery and organizational change.
- Strong negotiation and networking skills, excellent "client" relationship at C-level; Possessing analytical thinking and methodological planning techniques; Solid business judgment and advanced problem-solving skills; Ability to influence and steer executive peers.
- Strong inter-cultural and communication skills, able to deal easily with ambiguity and manage a diverse group of global and local stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organizational development success including training, developing, coaching, mentoring and mediation skills; Ability to manage disputes and conflict in an appropriate manner.
- Able to work effectively in a global matrix and lead teams through influence management.
