Responsibilities
- Sales and Client Development:
- Drive sales within the assigned vertical, accounts, and territory through effective client research, prospecting, and networking.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs, identify new marketing opportunities, and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Meet with existing and prospective clients, fostering strong, enduring relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales Targets and Reporting:
- Achieve monthly revenue and order targets by generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular sales reports.
- Proposals and Transactions:
- Draft, submit, and follow up on sales proposals, specifying appropriate standards and pricing for client needs.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process by providing outstanding service.
- CRM and Activity Tracking:
- Record all sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as per company requirements.
- Meet activity and engagement targets to maintain a high level of productivity and sales effectiveness.
- Market and Service Awareness:
- Maintain current knowledge of Intertek's services to support sales discussions and accurately inform clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related fields.
- Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time; must have a valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
