Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs tailored to data center operations.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for electrical systems, HVAC, fire suppression, and other critical infrastructure.
Compliance & Auditing
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
Lead internal and external safety audits and inspections; manage corrective actions.
Training & Awareness
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
Promote a culture of safety through awareness campaigns and continuous education.
Incident Management
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
Maintain incident logs and safety records in accordance with company policy.
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols.
Coordinate with local emergency services and ensure readiness of safety equipment.
Contractor Safety Oversight
Review and approve contractor safety plans; monitor compliance during construction and maintenance activities.
Conduct site safety orientations and toolbox talks.
Experience requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in data centers, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety, confined spaces, working at heights, and fire protection systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
