Ensuring the site is safe and ready for the planned work activities SE is responsible for
Working to SE Zero Harm standards at all times and reporting incidents and near misses
Conformity check of supplied work equipment/tools and spare parts
Carrying out planned workscope in accordance with the work documents
Advise Project Manager of additional workscope or outage overrun
Provide technical support and guidance
Advising when required mechanical fitters of the planned work for the day and ensuring Toolbox Talks are communicated for said activities
Monitoring the work progress and reporting to Project Manager and customer as required
Working with Technical Support to resolve onsite technical issues
Preparation and submission of final report and documentation to ensure SE can invoice for the work carried out
What You Bring
Ideally you will already be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience of working on SE Steam Turbines, Gearboxes, Generators and associated equipment
Educational or Vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline
Experience in the field liaising with customers and third party contractors
Be able to communicate concisely with good organizational skills to ensure the site team work effectively
Language skills in English, Korean & Japanese
Be able to travel and be away from home for extended periods
