- Lead R&D initiatives focused on bakery and dessert innovation, guided by market trends and consumer preferences.
- Manage end-to-end product development including formulation, pilot testing, cost analysis, and production scale-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct trials to evaluate product texture, shelf life, and packaging compatibility.
- Analyze industry trends and competitor products to drive differentiation.
- Present concepts and updates to senior leadership for review and approval.
- 5+ years in Management/leadership is crucial!
- Degree in Food Science or a related field; training in bakery or patisserie is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within bakery R&D, ideally in large-scale manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge in formulation, process development, and food technology.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- A passion for product innovation, problem-solving, and quality excellence.
