Develop and implement IP strategies to support innovation within the organisation.
Collaborate extensively with the global team on IP strategy and projects.
Ensure compliance with IP laws and regulations in the retail industry.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and protect new inventions.
Manage the IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Conduct regular audits to ensure IP rights are properly enforced and maintained.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on IP-related matters.
Work closely with external legal counsel on IP litigation or disputes.
Stay updated on industry trends and developments in IP law.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Strong experience in IP and patent management, preferably with an engineering focus (not requiring a legal qualification)
Fluent in English
Willing and able to travel internationally on occasion
Highly organised with strong business acumen
