Supply Chain Manager (Global Retail Company)

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers for efficient import and export processes.
• Supervise customs declarations and ensure full compliance with local and international trade regulations.
• Oversee warehouse and 3PL distribution center operations for both retail and e-commerce, focusing on performance, cost control, and process optimisation.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and product compliance with legal standards through regular audits and inspections.
• Maintain strong relationships with external logistics partners, including 3PLs, freight forwarders, and insurers, while negotiating for service quality and cost efficiency.
• Support supply chain planning, budgeting, and execution of strategic logistics initiatives.
• Lead logistics and warehouse projects, manage special operations, and promote sustainability in import/export and overall logistics practices

• Bring 5-10 years of logistics and supply chain experience, with strong expertise in import/export regulations, customs clearance, and operational compliance.
• Proficient in budget planning, cost control, and data analysis, with a solid understanding of numeracy and financial principles.
• Demonstrates effective people management, with the ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Highly organised, dependable, and flexible, capable of working independently in fast-paced environments while delivering results.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with added value from WMS or SAP experience
