Senior Graphic Designer

• Bachelor of Design, Graphics & Visual Arts
• Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic/environmental graphic design and/or visual graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Creative thinking and strong visual design skills
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Ability to think across media (print and digital) and create cohesive visual solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior designers
• Adaptability and willingness to integrate new technologies, including AI, into design workflows
• Capabilities to use AI tools, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI

• Develop creative concepts and designs for a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, proposals, website graphics, and social media content
• Ensure all designs align with dwp's brand identity and visual guidelines
• Prepare final artwork files for print and digital production
• Oversee the work of junior designers (if applicable), providing guidance and feedback
• Project Coordination

• Manage graphic design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Collaborate with other departments (marketing, business development, design teams) to understand project requirements and objectives
• Clarify details and questions regarding M&E and interior design/documentation with the Site Coordinator, suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare a plan including resources to produce a proposal
• Prepare final as-built drawing documentation to submit to the client
• Attend site meetings as necessary

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Present design concepts and solutions to clients and internal teams
• Gather feedback and incorporate revisions as needed

• Stay up-to-date with the latest graphic design trends, software, and technologies
• Explore and evaluate the potential use of AI tools to enhance the design process
• Quality Management

• Ensure that all design work meets dwp's quality standards and client expectations
• Review and approve final artwork before production
• Ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained and evaluate where continual improvement can be made
• Administration

• Finalize the client brief for approval and sign off
• Research the client background and update company marketing information to provide background information to the design team
• Prepare Google Slide presentations
• Forward pricing details to the Administration department to prepare tender comparisons in Google Sheets
• Coordinate with IT team to update the dwp design database which includes project images, and photographs
• Prepare appropriate proposals
• Add and update information in Google Workspace including dwp contacts categories
• Technology & AI Integration

• Implement the use of approved AI tools, including LLMs and Generative AI in projects
• Oversee the use of AI tools by the design team to enhance communication, data management, research and information retrieval, and process automation
• Provide training to the design team to implement the use of AI tools
