
Technical Project Manager (IT Infra System/Support)

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of APAC IT infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional and global (Tokyo Head Office) goals, timelines, and standards.
- Manage and oversee infrastructure upgrade and migration projects such as:
- Windows 11 migration
- Windows Server 2012/2016 upgrades
- Intune deployments
- Rubrik backup enhancements
- Offshore delivery and resource augmentation
- Zscaler implementation
- SolarWinds monitoring and alerting optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC and Tokyo to achieve project milestones and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders through detailed reporting and regular updates.
- Prepare and present project documentation, timelines, status reports, and executive summaries to senior management.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation or contingency plans.
- Track, control, and report on project performance to ensure quality delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve issues and ensure project continuity.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management within the infrastructure domain.
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure delivery including technologies such as:
- Wintel environments
- Microsoft 365 and Intune
- SolarWinds
- VMware
- Backup systems (e.g., Rubrik)
- Azure Cloud Services
- Proven experience managing global/regional infrastructure projects with cross-location collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and local language(s), written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with vendors and third-party support teams for technical resolutions.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry or working with regulated environments.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Experience working in multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- Understanding of local IT regulatory requirements.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSD, or MCSE.
