The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving profitability. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate effectively and foster a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Efficiency: Work closely with Management to optimize production processes, identify and implement waste reduction initiatives, and enhance overall factory efficiency and profitability.
Quality Assurance: Establish, implement, and rigorously ensure adherence to quality standards and product specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Oversee production reporting and conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all factory operations comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and maintain accurate and complete factory paperwork and documentation.
Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Resource Management: Manage production schedules, allocate resources effectively (manpower, machinery, materials), and optimize inventory levels to meet production targets.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for lean manufacturing, process optimization, and technological adoption to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Textile Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
10 years in production management within the garment/apparel/footwear manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, AQL standards).
Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance profitability.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in reporting and data analysis.
Thorough knowledge of factory regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Proficiency in relevant production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
