Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Deputy Country Manager to support and co-lead our NVOCC operations in Bangkok, with a strong focus on export shipments to the USA. This leadership role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in sales and branch operations within the freight forwarding and NVOCC sectors.The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, operational insight, and proven team management experience within the context of U.S.-bound ocean freight.Key Responsibilities**Support overall branch leadership, contributing to strategy, operations, and team development.**Drive export growth to the USA trade lane, aligning with company targets and market opportunities.**Lead and mentor sales and support teams, ensuring high performance and service excellence.**Collaborate with global offices, agents, and shipping lines to optimize routing and customer satisfaction.**Monitor KPIs and report on branch performance to senior management.**Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and internal operational standards.Position RequirementsBranch Management Experience**Minimum 5 years in a Branch Manager or Deputy Branch Manager role within an NVOCC focused on USA export trade.**Experience managing teams of 20 to 60 staff in Thailand.Sales Leadership Experience-(plus but not required)**At least 5 years experience in ocean sales experience for USA-bound exports.Industry Experience (Preferred)**Minimum 5 years of prior experience with an ocean shipping line, specifically handling the USA trade lane, is considered a strong advantage.Language SkillsFluent spoken English is required.Strong written English is highly preferred.EducationA four-year college degree is required, preferably in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
