We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Manager (Art & Design) to lead our Chiang Mai
operations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in the fine craftindustry, dealing with international clientele, and managing production.- Manage all departments of the production facility through effective leadership and management of staff.
- Provide leadership direction to the team on problem-solving and process improvements, addressing obstacles, providing resources, and interacting with all areas of production to assist the team in overcoming problems and streamlining the work process.
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure successful delivery on commitments to
customers.
- Create a weekly production schedule and oversee the effective execution of the production schedule, ensuring on-time delivery of all customer orders within agreed cost parameters.
- Establish performance targets for each department, taking appropriate and timely corrective action where negative trends begin to emerge.
- Ensure effective control of yields and wastage.
- Negotiate the price and purchase of fabric with suppliers, as well as trimming and materials for specific orders and general stock.
- Oversee the management of fabric and materials intake and oversee the logistical requirements of all
production areas.
- Lead the continuous review, development, and improvement of production processes.
Communication and Reporting:
- Ensure effective communication at all levels and between all departments in the production facility.
- Compile production information for sales staff regarding the timing of production orders, updating regularly to build up print time averages and useful information concerning different motifs/fabrics and
the level of difficulty in printing.
- Provide daily production reports to the senior management team.
Customer and Trade Show Liaison:
