Hand on operations including Production, Engineering, Planning, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), in accordance with international standards for chemical manufacturing.
Take full P&L accountability, focusing on cost efficiency, inventory optimization, and procurement strategy, while delivering regular operational and financial updates to the President and Executive Leadership.
Operational Optimization
Drive efficiency gains by maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and product yield, applying industry-leading practices to streamline processes and reduce operational waste.
Promote continuous process enhancement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, aiming to boost productivity, reduce downtime, and elevate product performance.
Leadership & Talent Development
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, cultivating a workplace culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and continuous professional development.
Coach and develop team members across operations, engineering, and quality departments to ensure sustainable organizational growth.
Stakeholder Engagement & Regulatory Compliance
Act as the key contact for global clients, ensuring product and process compliance with international regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, REACH, FDA, EU directives).
Coordinate effectively with external regulators, supply chain partners, and strategic stakeholders to maintain operational continuity and customer trust.
Safety & Environmental Stewardship
Spearhead robust safety protocols and lead sustainability initiatives, ensuring adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards across all operations.
Encourage eco-conscious manufacturing practices that reduce the facility's environmental footprint and contribute to the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
Experience requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is considered a strong advantage.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a leadership role within chemical manufacturing or industrial operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of production processes and operational management.
Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination and operational efficiency.
Extensive knowledge of global standards, including ISO certifications, Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations.
Strong expertise in best practices for Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Practical experience in batch manufacturing, chemical blending, or specialty coatings is highly preferred, reflecting familiarity with the specific challenges and technical requirements of these processes.
