Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external consultants, and local authorities, driving projects from concept through to construction readiness.Main Duties & Responsibilities
Master Planning
- Lead the development of master plans, site layouts, and land use strategies for luxury residential and hotel projects.
- Manage and coordinate all necessary planning approvals, permits, and entitlements with local government agencies.
- Ensure all planning activities align with company objectives, brand standards, and long-term vision for Laguna Phuket.
- Oversee the selection and management of architects, design consultants, engineers, and specialist consultants.
- Drive the design process to meet project requirements in terms of functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and brand alignment.
- Ensure design solutions are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with market positioning of luxury real estate and hospitality offerings.
- Develop and manage overall project schedules from planning through to construction start.
- Ensure design milestones, approval processes, and pre-construction activities are completed on time and budget.
- Coordinate with Construction, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure projects are construction-ready.
- Build strong relationships with local planning authorities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company in planning-related forums and public consultations as required.
- Coordinate with hotel operators and brand representatives to ensure operator requirements are integrated into the planning process.
- Promote and integrate sustainable design principles and ESG objectives into project planning.
- Ensure all planning and design activities comply with relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and company standards.
- Manage the performance of external designers and consultants.
- Liaise with project stakeholders including internal leadership, hotel operators, and property management teams.
- Maintain effective communication with government authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance.
- Work collaboratively with design teams to manage design queries and construction-related design changes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in planning and development of luxury residential and hospitality (hotel/resort) projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase planning programs with high attention to detail from conceptual through to detailed design.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of architectural and/or interior design, Thai planning regulations, permitting processes, and local market practices.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in project planning and design management tools and software.
- Fluent in English and Thai language.
- High attention to detail with strong design and organizational skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive design outcomes.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage pressure and maintain focus on project goals.
