
Bids and Tender Specialist

- Consolidate and report on Bids and Tenders (B&T) operational and workflow tool metrics: Narratives, emerging trends, local legislative changes, and key needs:
- Acts as part of the Sales team and supports Field Sales staff
- Partners with SPS team based in India
- Manage the timely and accurate submission of all bids and tenders through designated platforms or channels.
- Consistently report for B&T metrics for performance and quality
- Document trends and their impact on win-rate
- Track emerging trends in B&T priorities of customers
- Build better competitive intelligence
- Improves utilization of key tools and platforms for the Bids & Tenders. e.g.
- BTTT (Bids and tenders tracking tool)- maintains a comprehensive tender management system and database , tracking status of active and pending bids
- Maintains and refreshes country SharePoint and Teams channel
- Function as a key champion of SCEC Central B&T team with the Sales community
- Support core sales stakeholders in best practice initiatives, EODB, process and operational improvements as well as relevant audit remediation.
- Collaborate with key B&T stakeholders in country (Sales, Contracts, Finance, Legal, Coc, Compliance, GT, WWCQ etc)
- Ensure business operations continue to follow Agilent’s uncompromising legal and ethical standards
- Function as the primary point of contact for all tender-related communications, both internal and external
- Solves a broad range of system and/or workflow problems of varying scope and complexity
Keeps management informed of progress, key issues and changes which may impact the business.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.3-5 years of proven experience in Bid &Tender management, preferably within the Scientific instruments, consumables, life sciences, medical devices, or a related technical industry.Demonstrable experience in successfully preparing and submitting complex tendersStrong understanding of procurement processes and legal frameworks related to tendering.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai or Malay with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and experience with tender portals/e-procurement platforms.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Takes Initiative and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced business environment.Additional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
