EDD Risk Intelligence helps our customers meet their due diligence obligations and identify potential criminal activity with information from reputable public domain sources. Our data will also help
them address their Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) monitoring requirements. They can access over 4m records, delivered in a highly structured format. The product also protects their business from financial crime and reduces risk when carrying out their KYC due diligence screening obligations with World-Check Risk Intelligence - used and trusted by the world’s biggest companies for over two decades.We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Performance Test Specialist who is passionate about system performance and quality. This role requires expertise in both backend and frontend performance testing, with the ability to analyze requirements, design effective performance test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong communication skills in English and a growth mindset.Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute performance test plans for both backend APIs/services and frontend (Web UI) applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze performance requirements and define clear, measurable performance objectives.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and provide technical recommendations to development and infrastructure teams.
  • Utilize tools such as JMeter, DevTool, k6, Lighthouse, or similar to simulate load and monitor system behavior.
  • Provide coaching and training to QA engineers and developers on performance testing best practices.
  • Create and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and reports.
  • Work closely with DevSecOps and SRE teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Communicate performance results and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously learn new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3-5+ years experiences in performance testing for both backend and frontend systems.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing tools and monitoring solutions.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, identify performance issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments and containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Good English communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI or other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
