It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionJob Summary: • Responsible for relationship management of assigned customers to maximize profitability and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management on all aspects of the business as well as market conditions affecting the Bank’s business.
  • Develop sales strategies in order to expand business in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
  • Maintain good communication between all levels within the organization to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Provide advice and solutions to clients based on understanding of their needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross sell other banking products to customers and develop appropriate strategies to increase the usage of existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Relationship Management
  • Build up strong, effective and sustainable relationships with high net worth individuals, business owners and entrepreneurs.
  • Understand clients' financial situation, provide expert financial advice and create tailored financial solution to meet clients' needs.
  • Identify business opportunities by establishing and maintaining close relationships with clients.
  • Cross selling other banking products to customers and developing appropriate strategies to increase the usage of existing accounts.
  • Manage portfolio by ensuring the quality of the credit, monitoring the repayment schedule and conducting regular reviews.
  • Monitor clients' account activities, proactively identify areas where they can be improved and work out the best solution.
  • Promote other services provided by the Bank which are relevant to the clients' needs.
2. Client Acquisition
  • Prospect new client through referral, cold calling or direct approach.
  • Deliver excellent client experience throughout the life cycle of acquiring a new client.
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive acquisition strategy for both mass affluent and ultra high net worth individuals.
3. Product Strategy & Market Intelligence
  • Gather information on competitors' products and pricing structure and monitor trends in the industry.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and its impact on the Bank's business.
  • Work closely with product specialists to design new financial solutions to meet emerging client needs.
4. Credit Approval Process
  • Make sound credit decisions within approved authority limit.
  • Ensure that all loans are made in compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
  • Refer any non-standard applications to the approving authorities and ensure proper documentation is received prior to disbursement of loan.
5. Risk Management
  • Assess risks associated with each transaction and make sound judgments in granting credits.
  • Ensure all transactions conducted are within the limits set forth by the Bank's Policies and Procedures.
6. Marketing Activities
  • Organize seminars / road shows to promote the Bank's products and services.
  • Participate in events / exhibitions organized by the Bank to promote the Bank's brand image.
7. Other Duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superior.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a commercial bank, preferably in Corporate/Investment Banking.
  • Experience in providing financial advice and investment recommendations.
  • Sound knowledge of banking products and services including lending process.
  • Excellent skills in communicating, negotiating and persuading.
  • Strong leadership skill and ability to motivate team members.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
