Responsibilities:As a Maintenance Technician, you will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our production machinery and facility. Your key responsibilities will include
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including extruders, mixers, pelletizers, material handling systems, and ancillary equipment.
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implementing effective repair solutions.
Troubleshooting and repairing control systems, including PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
Conducting routine inspections and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.
Collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastic, chemical, or similar processing industries.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to work in shifts or respond to emergency calls as needed.
Relevant technical certification or vocational training is highly preferred.
