  • Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Lead and manage production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of resources (manpower, machinery, materials) to achieve production targets.
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align plant goals with corporate objectives.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and product development.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the plant.
Safety & Environmental Stewardship
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
Financial & Budgetary Control
  • Prepare and manage the plant's annual budget, including cost control and capital expenditure planning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyse financial reports and take corrective actions as needed.
Team Development & Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention through effective communication and recognition.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Plant Manager or equivalent leadership role.
  • Strong background in plastic injection moulding, extrusion, or thermoforming processes.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, production planning tools, and data-driven decision-making.
