- Manage and support Windows Server environments (2012 2022)
- Handle incidents and service requests escalated from L1 support
- Conduct routine health checks, performance monitoring, and maintenance tasks
- Apply OS patches, updates, and firmware upgrades
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services
- Support virtualization platforms (e.g. Hyper V, VMware ESXi/vCenter)
- Execute backup and restore operations using tools like Veeam or Commvault
- Liaise with hardware vendors for server-related issues (Dell, HP, Lenovo)
- Keep documentation up to date: SOPs, configurations, and change logs
- Support migration or deployment projects under L3 guidance
- Follow ITIL-based workflows for incident, change, and problem management
Job Skills & Requirements: -
- Proficiency with Windows Server OS (2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022)
- Strong experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Virtualization knowledge: VMware or Hyper V
- Backup/restore tools: Veeam, Commvault
- Basic PowerShell scripting for automation
- Familiarity with patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti)
- Basic network troubleshooting: TCP/IP, Subnets, VLANs
- Monitoring tools (e.g. SCOM, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- 3 6 years of hands-on experience with Wintel support and server administration
- Preferably holds Microsoft Certifications like MCSA, MCSE, or AZ 104 / AZ 800 / AZ 801
- VMware VCP or equivalent certification is a plus
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred for IT service management practices
