
Intern - Manufacturing Engineer (Studying Bachelor Degree) - Start onboarding in January 2026

- Assist in the design and development of tooling, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing automation
- Support concept designs for component handling systems and workstation layouts
- Create 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or similar software
- Conduct basic tolerance studies, GD&T analysis, and simulations to verify design
- Support engineering projects from concept to implementation under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assist in project scheduling, documentation, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of automation solutions
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of engineering components and materials
- Help analyze and troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and automation equipment
- Participate in feasibility studies for new product transfers and process enhancements
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives and workspace optimization efforts
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Automation and Robotics Engineering, or a related field. Available for an internship duration of 3 months or more, starting in January 2026
- Basic proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Strong interest in mechanical design, automation, and engineering analysis
- Basic understanding of GD&T, simulations, and tolerance studies (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Ability to work in a team environment and learn quickly
- Basic knowledge of automation systems, robotic handling, or manufacturing processes
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO standards is a plus
- Previous internship or project experience in automation or mechanical design (preferred but not required)
