Job PurposeSenior Supervisor, Drilling Operations is responsible for supervising drilling activities at well site, in coordination with Superintendent, Drilling Operations, to ensure a safe and efficient drilling operations progress according to the issued drilling program. The jobholder also ensures all the well site operations are conducted according to company's Well Management System, SSHE Management System, Management of Contractors and Suppliers Standard and the local regulatory requirementsKey Accountabilities
Plan and manage onsite daily drilling operations issue drilling Instructions in accordance with the office issued
drilling program and procedures. Prepare and discuss lookahead plan and/or project planning with all supervisors onsite. * Lead and supervise the execution of the drilling, completion, well testing and work-over program and ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner as well as compliance with company's standards
Drilling operations are conducted in accordance with company's SSHE Management System, Well Management
System (WMS), Management of Contractors and Suppliers Standard, and the local regulatory requirements * Organize, coordinate and supervise the drilling contractors and service companies to ensure a safe, smooth and efficient operations
Coordinate with related parties for the material, equipment and personnel movement to rig
Ensure drilling operations are conducted as per program, report to Drilling Superintendent if any deviation for
troubleshooting or corrective action * Follow up cost control, reporting and equipment inventory on rig
Perform immediate actions according to the emergency procedures in emergency situation and/or when lives and
properties are endangered including medical evacuation, blow-out, emergency situation * Coach and contribute to competency development of Supervisor, Drilling Operations (Night) on job knowledge and supervision skills
Seek for performance improvement and cost reduction opportunity with safety/environmental standards and
regulatory compliance * Actively participate in all aspects of SSHE including the pre-job safety meetings, JSAs, pre-tour meetings and inpreparation of the risk assessments for jobs associated with significant risks to operations. * Participate in SSHE reviews, follow-up action items, support the SSHE supervisor on site, monitor and report onSSHE performance and contribute to a SSHE improvement plan. * Supervise the drilling team onsite comprising drilling supervisor, SSHE supervisor, marine supervisor and materialcoordinator to ensure SSHE, logistics and engineering plan are in line with daily activities and lookahead plan * Contribute in providing input to HAZIDs and HAZOPs for the risk management process and emergency responseplans for the drilling operations. * Promote the implementation of company's SSHE policy, regulations and industrial standards in all works underresponsibilityProfessional Knowledge & Experiences
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10-year experience offshore drilling operations with minimum supervisor.
Have experience on drilling operations in Gulf of Thailand.
Have experience on Offline Activities in Gulf of Thailand.
Have experience on development, exploration and appraisal well operation
Have experience on Tubing Stem Testing (TST).
Exposure to completion and workover.
Have certificates in well control.
Knowledge of well site operations to supervise drilling, completion activities
Good in written and spoken English skills
Interpersonal, coordination, communication, and supervisory skill
