TasksThe General Manager - Sales & Marketing is responsible for driving the overall sales and marketing strategy of Mercedes-Benz Mobility Thailand, covering both Passenger Cars (PC) and Commercial Vehicles (CV). This role leads the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies, strengthens partnerships with Brand Partners and Dealers, ensures seamless digital transformation in line with the company's strategy, and drives business growth through innovative product, pricing, and customer-centric initiatives.Sales Strategy & Sales ExecutionDevelop, communicate, and execute sales strategies aligned with the overall company and Brand Partner business objectives.Lead and optimize the deal origination process, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely execution.Drive the implementation of digitalized sales processes with Brand Partners and Dealers to enhance customer and dealer experience.Lead implementation of sales training to build strong sales capabilities across the organization.Provide timely solutions to escalated sales issues raised by internal and external stakeholders.Define, implement, and review sales remuneration models (commission, incentives) in line with company guidelines.Ensure implementation of Due Diligence processes for sales intermediaries.Analyze market performance, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to set and refine sales strategies in alignment with the company's sales strategy.Marketing & CommunicationDevelop and lead integrated marketing and communication strategies (online & offline) aligned with Brand Partner and company direction.Establish and manage customer communication channels and tools throughout the customer journey, ensuring seamless integration with Dealers and Brand Partners.Drive the digitalization of end-to-end marketing and sales processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.Lead the development and execution of joint campaigns with Brand Partners to strengthen brand equity and drive business growth.Design and execute marketing campaigns for new financial products and Used Car solutions.Ensure MBLT's strategy, performance, and initiatives are effectively communicated to Brand Partners and Dealer management.Dealer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Dealer leadership (CEOs, CFOs, GMs).Conduct regular dealer visits to gather feedback on market trends, business potential, and to review MBLT's performance, products, and campaigns.Provide strategic guidance to Dealers on Used Car business operations, market opportunities, and recommend competitive pricing strategies to support profitability.Business Development & Product ManagementIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, including innovative digital solutions and new business models.Lead the development, launch, and enhancement of financial products tailored to customer and market needs.Drive Used Car business development, ensuring alignment with market demands and brand strategy.Develop and propose effective and competitive pricing strategies for both new and Used Car products, ensuring alignment with financial and market objectives.Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer expectations to support business decisions and campaign design.Champion initiatives to deliver superior customer experiences, including retention and loyalty programs.Leadership & People DevelopmentLead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Sales & Marketing team in line with the company's Great Place to Work ambition.Provide clear direction, performance management, and coaching to ensure achievement of strategic and financial targets.Drive cross-functional collaboration across business units to ensure integrated solutions for customers and partners.Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer centricity.Ensure swift and fair resolution of conflicts and uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance.Align resource requirements with business needs and support employee development through training and growth opportunities.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure strict adherence to the Internal Control System (ICS) and compliance guidelines, including anti-corruption measures.Conduct ongoing risk assessments and implement effective mitigation measures within the Sales & Marketing function.Drive the implementation of compliance solutions and address identified gaps in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Promote a sustainable compliance culture across all levels of the organization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development within the automotive or financial services industry; prior leadership experience is required.Strong analytical skills with the ability to set and adjust sales and marketing strategies in line with company objectives.Excellent understanding of financial products (e.g., retail financing, leasing, insurance, fleet solutions).Proven expertise in Used Car business operations and pricing, with the ability to recommend competitive pricing strategies.Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, sales performance management, and business development.Proven track record in digital transformation projects, including dealer POS systems, digital sales channels, API integration, and CRM/BI tools (e.g., Power BI).Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Thai.High integrity, strategic mindset, and ability to lead change in a dynamic environment.
