Plant Finance Head

• Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance controls at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPI's of the plant.

• Responsible for statutory compliances with respect to direct and indirect tax.

• Costing experience is must with SAP CO module exposure.

• Preparation and monitoring of Plant Budget.

• Responsible for month end closing activity and reporting.

• To track plant performances on a regular basis and drive attention to key performance indicator driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant.

• Inventory control through monthly Reporting and Responsibility for correctness of Plant Financials.

• Ensure Proper Internal Control system is implemented & followed at the Plant.

• Having good knowledge of local tax and govt requirements.

• Maintain a tight control environment and set up Standard Operating Procedures for the team to follow.

• Develop financial plan and oversee financial budgeting and forecasting for the business.

• Review the actual results against the budgeted goals to identify and correct accounting issues and variances.

• Manage the profit and loss statements and cash and balance sheet to ensure the financial integrity.

• Prepares and presents finance reports & metrics, communicating critical financial matters to leadership.

• Having experience to manage reporting systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and tax requirement.

• Work closely with internal and external auditors and work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by auditors and pass the audits.

• Responsible for tax compliances - Direct Taxes as well as Indirect Taxes, including Transfer Pricing.

• Set the tone of a highly compliant organization and always follow the rules and regulations.

• Develop a committed team of finance and accounting professionals with right expertise, client focus, results drive and accountability to deliver high quality output on-time.

• Train and empower the business controllers to enable quick business level decision making.

• Resolution of conflicts or difference of opinion among team members as and when they arise.

• Experience on using SAP ERP systems, Excel.

• Systems implementation experience a plus.

• Being available to Plant finance leaders to support finance linked business decision.

• Anchor Financial review meetings to drive realistic and accurate business forecasts.

• Being available for Central Finance team and support central requirements.

• Bachelor or higher in Finance or related fields.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in Plant accounting, financial reporting and Budgeting.

• Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.

• Experience with tax, Treasury, Financial reporting, audit, and legal compliance.

• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.

• Manufacturing experience and International experience is must.
