Reports to: Sr Supervisor, Direct Procurement Operations ThailandMake a difference as an Import Procurement Specialist
As an Import Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the supply of imported raw materials, chemicals, and ingredients for our manufacturing operations. You’ll coordinate end-to-end import activities, maintain compliance with government regulations, and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.What you will do :Ensure uninterrupted supply of import raw materials and chemicals through accurate demand planning and vendor schedulingManage import processes including shipping, documentation, FDA permits, BOI licenses, and customs compliancePartner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to align forecasts, monitor risks, and deliver cost efficiencyDevelop and maintain Supplier Relationship Management programs to guarantee vendor service levelsSupport the implementation of procurement strategies that drive cost-savings and service reliabilityEnsure procurement compliance with internal policies, BOI regulations, and Thai government authoritiesWhat you will bring :Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or related fieldProven experience in import procurement, including shipping documentation and permit handlingStrong command of SAP MM and MRP/Demand Planning systemsProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SAP, Ariba, and Power SteeringGood knowledge of BOI privilege license processes and FDA permit coordination is a plusWho you are :Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong communication skills in Thai and EnglishFast learner with a proactive and positive attitudeDetail-oriented and compliance-drivenAble to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with internal and external partnersWhy Join Ingredion?
