Salary range: Max 100KResponsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Complete all required monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner by the 6th working day of the month.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Preparation.
  • Preparation of Profit and Loss.
  • Intercompany accounts reconciled and all transactions captured accurately.
  • Manage the accounting functions of the international subsidiary in Thailand and Intercompany Accounts.
  • Develop financial reviews and provide advice.
  • Monitor and manage all internal controls and financial transactions, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Payroll Preparation and Processing
  • Ensure payroll is processed on time and in accordance with local regulations and company polices.
Preparation of Cash Flow Statements
  • Effective cash flow management, improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
  • Prepare cash flow statements to show the inflow and outflow of cash for the subsidiary in Thailand, which will be useful for forecasting and planning purposes.
Monthly Budget Preparation
  • Prepared budgets for the subsidiary in Thailand, which will be used by the New Zealand entity to determine the cash required for the subsidiary's operations. The budgets should be realistic and based on accurate assumptions.
Monitor and manage the stock management process
  • Accurate Inventory records and timely reporting. The interface between the Stock System (Ostendo) and the Accounting System (XERO) are working synergistically.
Managing Purchasing and Inventory Controller, and Administrative Assistant
  • Efficient procurement processes, accurate inventory management, cost management, compliance, timely reporting, and effective communication. Ensure that procurement and inventory management processes are well-managed and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including BOI regulations
  • Ensure all accounting functions of the subsidiary in Thailand follow relevant statutory law and accounting standards and regulations, both in Thailand and New Zealand. Ensure the subsidiary complies with all requirements under BOI.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Must have CPD License
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and stock systems. (Xero would be advantage)
  • Strong understanding of compliance with accounting regulations in Thailand
  • Experience preparing Tax returns.
  • Audit experience
  • Experience processing bank payments and managing Bank and credit card accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Fluent and confident in English both written and verbal.
  • Experience managing people.
