- Provide first-line support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to WMS.
- Assist in user training and onboarding for WMS functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality of WMS.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks for the application.
- Respond promptly to user queries and issues.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to warehouse staff.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents related to WMS and warehouse hardware.
- Review and reconcile service fees associated with incident tickets from the WMS provider, verifying accuracy of charges (such as extra fees beyond standard maintenance agreements).
- Coordinate with the finance or procurement department to validate and approve ticket-based charges, ensuring alignment with budget and contractual terms.
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing warehouse operations and support systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience 3 years in application support, preferably in warehouse or logistics environments.
- Hands-on experience with WMS systems and related hardware.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and familiarity with system configurations, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying, analyzing, and managing database data. Ability to write complex queries, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Proficiency in WMS software and other warehouse management tools
- Knowledge of hardware setup and maintenance, including barcode scanners, printers, and handheld devices.
