Set strategy, goals, and budget for the procurement team to prioritize all purchasing activities.
Develop and implement procurement systems, workflows, and reporting for the company.
Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and new innovations.
Build relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and product terms.
Review and compare purchasing orders, track vendors, prices, and product lists.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
Prepare and present weekly reports, tracking status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
Oversee procurement execution, logistics, material management, and payment processes.
Experience requirements
7 years+ of construction management required
Undergraduate degree in civil engineer, project management, or related degree
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and management skills
Ability to analyze data and present key findings both verbally and in written form
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals etc.
Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft office produce (Excel, PowerPoint, and word)
Excellent knowledge in design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbally and written)
Strong communication skills - for liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, professionals, and workers on site

Education requirements
Bachelors' degree or higher in Engineer, Architecture, Real Estate Management, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of experience in procurement field especially in the construction industry such as construction company, development company, and suppliers.
Knowledge and understanding of procurement procedures and construction materials.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
