Location: Pringles Manufacturing Thailand Limited, Chon BuriThe mechanical engineer plays pivotal role in the oversees all mechanical operations and ensures that machinery, systems, and teams function efficiently while meeting safety, quality, and department roles. This positioning will oversee the entire PM Plan and review/adjusted the PM plan as necessary based RCFA, MTBR, MTBF, other quantitative machinery data.In this role, the Maintenance Engineer will lead and manage the day-to-day engineering related issues, breakdown analysis, & any other ad-hoc activities to ensure production can operate efficiently and effectively. This position will work closely with engineering services providers, and internal teams (both regional and global) to coordinate all engineering related aspect.Lastly the Mechanical Engineer will need to monitor various administrative duties that related equipment reliabilities, cost savings project, upgrading project, Capital Long Range Project.

- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of mechanical technicians.
- Project Management: Coordinate mechanical projects from planning to execution. Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintenance Oversight: Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery. Troubleshoot issues and ensure rapid resolution to minimize downtime.
- System Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of systems. Implement upgrades or modifications as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Budget and Resource Management: Plan and manage budgets for mechanical operations. Monitor inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of projects, maintenance activities, and system performance. Prepare reports and present updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience of 5-7 years in manufacturing plant in maintenance, or project engineering or similar capacity
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to interact well with other employees within AMEA region and across region.
- Good communication abilities and strong human relations. intermediate Proficiency of English in both speaking and written.
- Ability to use digital/smart factory tools, dashboards etc.
- Good knowledge of computers, MS office applications, proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
- Good knowledge of SAP is a must (min 3 yrs experience as the SAP user)
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
