Job Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise ocean freight pricing activities to ensure competitiveness and profitability. - Coordinate and negotiate with shipping lines and carriers to secure the best possible freight rates and conditions. - Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and cost structures to develop effective pricing strategies. - Provide accurate and timely freight quotations to internal sales teams and customers. - Ensure that pricing processes and policies are aligned with company goals and updated regularly. - Lead and support the pricing team to maintain high performance and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Procurement.Job Requirement
Necessary Skill / Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - At least 3 years' experience in ocean export freight pricing - Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Good understanding of international shipping procedures and ocean freight rate structures. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with freight management systems (FMS). - Conversation High level of English (both written and spoken with Japanese Sales and shipping).
