In delivering these trade and customs services, KPMG's professionals endeavor to add value to clients' businesses by focusing on duty savings and customs compliance initiatives to facilitate bottom-line cash savings, reduce potential exposure from customs compliance violations, and improve operational efficiencies.Responsibilities
Provide assistances to managers in handling client's assignments
Review tariff classification, customs valuation, customs and BOI formalities and compliance, customs privileges compliance, import tax planning and excise tax compliance
Conduct a research on local and international trade laws and regulations that may have an impact to the client
Communicate with trade & customs-related government authorities in order to facilitate clients' work
Prepare documents by using appropriate business terms and technical language.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Legal, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
4-10 years of working experience in customs, logistics, export & import or international trade field.
Strong communication and presentation capability with ability to compromise and negotiation.
Prior experience in drafting tax advice work for global trade and compliances.
