
Key Account Manager, Transportation

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key transportation clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
- Monitor service performance and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow account revenue.
- Lead regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and explore improvements.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform account strategy.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate records of account activities, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in key account management, preferably in transportation or logistics.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, trucking, or supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver results.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in [Insert Language(s)] – both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel as needed.
