Job Title : Head of Teacher💰 (90,000 - 120,000 Baht)📍 Location: Learn Satit Pattana School, ThailandAbout the RoleLearn Satit Pattana School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Teacher to lead, inspire, and manage a team of educators. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality teaching, curriculum development, and student progress. The successful candidate will oversee subject Heads, manage resources effectively, and drive academic excellence within the school.Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
-Lead, mentor, and manage individual Heads of Subject to achieve outstanding academic outcomes.
-Ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date, age-appropriate, and aligned with best practices.
-Oversee lesson planning, assessment strategies, and intervention programs based on student performance data.
-Drive innovation in teaching methods, ensuring differentiation and high student engagement.
-Maintain strong communication with parents regarding academic progress and expectations.Department & School Contributions
-Develop and implement a shared vision for academic excellence within the school.
-Participate in Heads of Department (HOD) meetings and act as the main representative for teaching staff.
-Lead recruitment, induction, and professional development for teachers.
-Ensure staff performance reviews and appraisals are conducted annually.
-Promote collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship within the teaching community.Training & Development
-Foster a culture of continuous professional development and encourage best practices in teaching.
-Ensure proper induction programs for new staff.
-Identify training needs and facilitate workshops or external training sessions.
-Qualifications & Requirements✅ Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
✅ Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 (preferred).
✅ Proven track record of outstanding student progress and academic leadership.
✅ Strong knowledge of current educational trends, initiatives, and safeguarding procedures.
✅ IT proficiency, with experience using educational technology for teaching, tracking progress, and management.Desirable Skills
📌 Math & Science Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mathematical and scientific concepts, including algebra, geometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, and physics.
📌 Ability to design engaging lesson plans, explain complex topics effectively, and integrate technology into instruction.
📌 Strong classroom management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
📌 Experience in mentoring and supporting fellow teachers.
