Procurement Specialist

About the CompanyOur client is a leading independent power producer operating a large-scale thermal power plant in Thailand.Job Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement operations, from supplier identification to contract closure and performance evaluation.
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to secure high-value materials and services.
Lead negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms.
Oversee supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and strategic alignment.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Administer full contract lifecycle management, including drafting, execution, and renewal.
Coordinate import customs clearance for goods and equipment, optimizing regulatory privileges.
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost-saving measures and support business objectives.

Experience requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance standards, and import/export procedures.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
Proficiency in contract management, including drafting, execution, and lifecycle oversight.
Demonstrated success in leading cost-saving initiatives and driving process improvements.

Education requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
