(Our website is currently under construction, we're refining our look soon!)We are currently hiring enthusiastic and qualified Primary Swimming & Sports Teachers to join our Kajonkiet Schools Group in Phuket, Thailand. These positions require a filling in September 2025.Available Positions:
- Lower Primary Swimming Teacher at Kajonkietsuksa School
- Upper Primary Swimming & Sports Teacher at Kajonkietsuksa School
- Showing outstanding characteristics; proactive and meticulous approach to student safety, genuine commitment to holistic child development, resilient, safety-conscious approach to all activities, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Willing to make Phuket province home for a minimum of 1-2 years.
- Holding a mature attitude towards work and a growth mindset.
- Showing a strong desire and passion to teach 6-11 years old children with mixed second-language abilities.
- Available to start by September 2025, and to commit until March 2026 (the end of school academic year).
- Must be a Native English Speaker or from countries where English is the primary language of communication.
- An accredited Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related.
- A university qualification is a minimum requirement for applicants under regulations set by the Thai Ministry of Education.
- Recognized swimming instructor certification
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with primary-aged children
- Teach fundamental swimming techniques, water safety, and aquatic skills for approximately 18-20 lessons per week (depend on an individual timetable).
- Conduct various sports and physical education classes
- Ensure student safety during all aquatic and sporting activities
- Assess and monitor student progress in swimming proficiency and physical development
- Maintain and inspect sports equipment and pool facilities for safety compliance
- Offering pastoral care, guidance, and nurturing support to kindergarten children in their social and emotional development.
- Preparing lesson plans and handling administrative tasks (i.e. grade students' assessments, report, and etc.)
- Be responsible for examination and invigilating.
- Participating in the extra-curricular activities, school duties/activities assigned by school.
The teachers will be paid a locally-competitive salary for a one-year contract. In addition, the school will fully accommodate a work permit, a Thai Teaching License, and a working visa (Non-Immigrant Visa B). Also, the school will provide a balanced orientation & mentorship with experienced teachers.Base Salary Range: 45,000-60,000 THB
