Perform detailed food safety and quality system audits
Conduct on-site inspections of food production facilities
Assess compliance with international food standards (GFSI, ISO 22000, HACCP)
Evaluate food safety management systems and processes
Prepare detailed, accurate, and objective audit reports
Technical Assessment
Verify implementation of food safety protocols
Identify potential risks and non-conformities
Recommend corrective actions and improvement strategies
Assess documentation and record-keeping practices
Evaluate supplier and vendor food safety compliance
Certification Process
Support client certification journey
Provide expert guidance on food safety standards
Assist in developing corrective action plans
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations
Qualifications Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety auditing
Lead Auditor certification (IRCA/FSSC 22000)
Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards
Technical Competencies
Detailed knowledge of:
GFSI benchmarked standards
ISO 22000
HACCP principles
Global food safety regulations
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Proficient in audit reporting software
