Job SummaryOversee and lead the development of marketing plans, budgets, product communication, promotion activation and reporting to achieve business objectivesGeneral Responsibilities
Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
Oversee development of marketing plans and critically evaluate implementation effectiveness to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies
Lead development of marketing budgets and ensure alignment to clients' needs and marketing plans. Evaluate key marketing expenditures and budget-to-actual variances
Manage analysis and evaluation of market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities, etc. Guide prioritization of marketing plans according to changing markets and competitive conditions
Define overall promotion objectives, strategize choice of media and oversee promotion activation to ensure effective execution of advertising and promotion activities
Strategize product communication activities, launches, exhibitions, media relations activities, etc. to drive awareness of products/services
Oversee the preparation of marketing reports/updates/analysis for management presentation and decision-making
Lead business planning with internal/external stakeholders (e.g. sales) in budgeting, marketing strategy development, etc. to align to business priorities. Advise stakeholders on market sentiments
Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies (e.g. event organizers, advertising agencies, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities
Functional Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
Demonstrate sound knowledge in the company's products/services and application of marketing principles/practices
Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Education
Degree or professional qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline
Master's in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration will be an added advantage
