Job Purpose:To support the irrigation team by performing maintenance, repair, and installation of parts to the system, ensuring efficient water distribution and coverage across the golf course.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Irrigation Supervisor with daily maintenance and repair of irrigation system.
Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components including pumps, valves, decoders and sprinkler heads.
Install new irrigation systems as needed for newly developed or expanded areas on the golf course.
Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules as per instructed by Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report issues promptly.
Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth integration of irrigation on landscape and golf course areas.
Comply with safety standards and procedures during all work activities.
Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of experience in electrical work or irrigation maintenance preferred
Basic computer skills to operate irrigation control software and reporting tools
Willingness and physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new irrigation technologies
