Every function within the team has a well-defined career track with clear goals and development targets each step of the way.The Opportunity (About the team and a short summary about the role)The Procurement Category Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing Strategic sourcing and Category Strategy development in Agoda with a focus on Workplace Experience, including office leasing, facilities, in-office services and events as well as supporting our HQ move in to the newly build Bangkok One building. The goal is to provide the best employee experience whilst managing resources effectively. Spend coverage is approximately $75M USD plus. In addition to Workplace Services there may be additional Ad-Hoc requests or major procurement initiatives.The position will be creating Workplace and Real Estate Procurement from scratch in Agoda. This position will be part of Agoda's procurement structure but reporting to the Senior Global Procurement Manager at Booking Holdings, with regular interactions into the Booking Holdings Corporate services procurement team.What You'll Need to Succeed (Required skill sets, minimum requirements)
- Minimum 8 years in Real Estate and Facilities management Procurement.
- Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, procure-to-pay processes and tools and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and flexibility to work independently
- Experience in spend analysis, market and benchmark analysis at a broad level
- Innovation in procurement process experience considered advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and delivering presentations
- Demonstrated change management and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop small teams and build credibility with business partners, with a strong focus on Customer Centricity
- Ability to manage and collaborate with teams and stakeholders
