Please visit our website:Job DescriptionThe Procurement Lead is responsible for managing all procurement activities for data center construction projects. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and contracting suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, and aligning procurement strategies with project timelines and budgets.1. Procurement Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to data center construction.
Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and commercial teams to define procurement needs and timelines.
Ensure alignment with project milestones and budget constraints.
2. Supplier & Subcontractor Management
Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors for civil, structural, MEP, and specialized data center systems.
Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
3. Contract & Risk Management
Draft and manage contracts ensuring back-to-back terms with client agreements.
Mitigate risks through contractual clauses, supplier audits, and contingency planning.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
4. Cost Control & Reporting
Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
Track procurement budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
Provide regular procurement status reports to project leadership.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with construction, engineering, legal, and finance teams.
Support project execution teams during tendering and construction phases.
Participate in project review meetings and procurement audits.
QualificationsThis is a client-side position which is full-time based on the construction site.Reports to both the project director and the client.At least 10 years of experience in procurement of international high-tech projects, with data centre experience being preferred.Some experience delivering projects within a General Contractor would be highly preferred.Proficient in both local language and English, both verbal and written. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
