Manage full-spectrum import/export compliance, ensuring adherence to domestic customs laws and international trade regulations, while proactively supporting destination country requirements to minimize risks and maintain smooth operations.
Oversee APAC trade compliance strategy, aligning processes with global frameworks while anticipating regulatory shifts and safeguarding operational integrity through robust controls.
Serve as executive liaison with government agencies and trade associations, representing the company in negotiations and influencing regulatory outcomes at both national and industry levels.
Manage vendor and freight relationships, driving strategic selection, contractual excellence, and long-term logistics models that support scalability and innovation.
Lead transportation systems planning, owning the roadmap for TMS and digital integration, and collaborating cross-functionally to identify automation and system enhancements.
Build and mentor a high-performing team, driving talent development, succession planning, and fostering strong collaboration across borders within the supply chain network.
Guide performance and KPI governance, leveraging data analytics to inform strategic decisions and conducting regular regional business reviews to highlight trends and mitigate risks.
Control budgeting and cost strategy, developing financial plans, identifying cost-saving initiatives, and making strategic investment choices based on ROI and operational alignment.
Champion compliance and cross-functional collaboration, leading risk assessments, fostering an ethics-driven culture, and aligning trade strategies across legal, tax, finance, and global operations
The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Manager, Trade & Customs should have
Proven expertise in customs regulations and trade compliance related to import & export.
Effective communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.
Good command in English communication skill
