By combining expert instruction with personalized learning technology, OnDemand Education sharpens exam readiness and equips learners to achieve their future aspirations.The Strategic Academic Advisor (SA) provides end-to-end academic planning, guidance, and coaching for high school students pursuing admission to medical and innovation-related programs. The advisor works closely with students and parents to develop tailored plans and support their academic, extracurricular, research, and application journey.Join us and help the next generation turn ambition into achievement.What You'll Drive1. Strategy Planning (One-Time Deep-Dive Consultation)
  • Conduct a one-time, in-depth academic consultation (up to 2 hours) for students and parents.
  • Explain the complete preparation journey including required exams (e.g., CU-TEP, IELTS, UCAT, AKAT), extracurricular activities, and overall portfolio expectations.
  • Provide a clear strategic overview and next steps.
2. Strategy Meeting (Long-Term Academic Planning & Monitoring)
  • Develop and monitor a personalized academic roadmap every 3 months to ensure preparation is on track.
  • Recommend tailored extracurricular activities such as internships, competitions, research projects, or community service.
  • Ensure that all activities align with both the student's personal interests and their target faculties.
  • Review progress and adjust plans accordingly based on each student's performance and development.
  • Maintain communication with parents to ensure transparency and support.
  • Conduct 4 formal progress meetings to offer academic feedback and plan next steps.
  • Review application-related documents and support coordination with external organizations when needed for volunteer or enrichment activities.
3. University Application Coaching
  • Instruct students on writing impactful reflections and preparing competitive portfolios for up to 3 medical faculties.
  • Coach students on crafting strong, clear Statements of Purpose (SOPs) for up to 2 faculties.
  • Provide ongoing feedback across up to 15 sessions to ensure Portfolio and SOP quality.
  • Review language and content accuracy before submission.
  • Serve as a mock interviewer, especially for MMI (Multiple Mini Interviews), often conducted in English in early TCAS rounds.
  • Emphasize English and communication skills coaching, which are crucial for the success of this stage.
4. Project Coaching (Research Guidance)
  • Coach students in conducting academic research using either survey methods or literature reviews.
  • Support and track research execution through 10 dedicated sessions (up to 2 hours each).
  • Coordinate with science teachers or mentors as needed to facilitate student research.
  • Guide students to produce high-quality research that demonstrates systematic thinking and strengthens their portfolio.
What You'll Bring
  • Must have strong English proficiency as the role requires reviewing academic writing and ensuring language accuracy.
  • Strong teaching and instructional abilities are required.
  • Solid academic background, particularly in science or health-related fields.
  • Proficient in guiding students through academic research, including both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Understanding of educational systems and university admission processes, especially for competitive programs such as medicine.
