Proactively implements and oversees projects in accordance and compliance with SCGP's and Vexcel Pack's highest safety standards
Oversees and delivers end-to-end product development projects
Oversees and delivers end-to-end engineering project implementations
Initiate cost-saving projects
Provide Technical Excellence for new projects and improvement projects.
Support other departments with their project implementations
Build strong relationships with other departments with teamwork and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with technical and commercial requirements.
Design and develop new rigid plastic cup products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions.
Manage and coordinate prototypes, trials, and testing, ensuring full process capability and successful customer sign-off before launch.
Liaise with external suppliers to procure tooling and materials, supporting technical feasibility and ensuring alignment with project timelines.
Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather and clarify project requirements, maintaining strong communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Support cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives, applying engineering principles to reduce waste and enhance performance.
Analyze project financials and feasibility, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and ensure return on investment.
Fully interface with the technical team and commercial account managers, ensuring clear translation of customer needs into viable technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, contributing to site risk management and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Design Engineering or related field
having at least 5 years' experience working in a manufacturing engineering role
English and Thai proficiency in both speaking and writing skills
Computer literacy is a must (CAD / MS project proficiency).
The capacity to handle small, medium to high-scale projects within the organization
