The position reports to General Manager.Work authorization for the location is required.About the roleDirector of Spa is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for wellness, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.What you will do1. Manage and oversee all the Spa.2. Arrange the training of the Spa to standards3. Maintain operating criteria/spa concepts and be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all Spa related services in relation to assistance with policies, philosophy and objectives for the Spa.4. Interview and select job applicants as well as supervise, discipline and give performance evaluations for pool employees.5. Work closely with Engineering to maintain proper water quality and mechanical operation of the swimming and whirl pools.6. Responsible for the administration of goods, requisitions, inventories, storage and cost effective usage of all department related materials and assets, according to standards to ensure for smooth operation.7. Coordinate personal training with outside contractors and employees and to guarantee a high level of service and adequate availability.8. Maintain the Spa area as a safe environment and in accordance with all health department regulations.9. Interact with guest, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage.10. Utilize all computer systems relevant to the departments.11. Ensure all equipment is kept in perfect working condition and reports any deficiencies to the proper department.12. Issue recommendations regarding the annual operating budget, capital investment budget, operating planning and further periodic evaluations of financial performance, including reports on sales and operations with supporting statistical data.What You Bring
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a luxury spa setting.
  • Demonstrated superior knowledge of spa, wellness, and holistic modalities.
  • Thorough understanding of 5-star service standards, effective application of spa staffing models, proven ability to create and implement spa service menus, effective retail management, successful marketing strategies, and demonstrated ability to project costs, revenue, and adhere to budgets
