  • Advise internal stakeholders and manage a range of issues including general corporate and commercial matters, travel-related products and contents, IP laws, consumer protection, internet, electronic and online transactions, disputes (pre-litigation), data protection and financial-related regulations (including insurance, payment systems, lending, and electronic cards) and other necessary compliances
  • Participate in effective negotiation and assisting the stakeholders with ongoing contract management
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate regulatory reports and filings as required, as well as internally manage in-house company secretary works
  • Handle consumer complaints and litigation matters, and manage external counsels to ensure timely and knowledgeable support of critical matters
  • Assist to build scalable and effective processes for legal review, contract reviews, contract drafting and launch of products in Thailand.
Requirements
  • A law degree from a well-recognized reputable university in Thailand. A higher degree from a well-recognized reputable university overseas is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualified experience gained in reputable international law firms and/or multi-national companies.
  • Extensive knowledge of Thai laws and business world.
  • Ability to understand and to grasp key issues/points, able to think logically in a systematic order and ability to analyze issues with solutions.
  • Good problem‐solving skill and ability to give clear legal advice; straight to the point in simple language for non-lawyers to understand.
  • Attention to detail with excellent time management and multitasking/prioritization abilities.
  • Proactive working attitude with good communication skills and working as a team player with internal stakeholders to deliver effective support and advice, formulation and coordination of positions across different departments, reporting and escalation of issues.
  • Enthusiasm to take on challenging and ad-hoc projects and deepen the knowledge of travel industry and relevant business operation.
  • Fluent in Thai and English, both oral and writing.
