  • Define and execute the operational strategy for the retail logistics sector, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Establish a clear vision for the business unit, driving innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Make high-level decisions that influence financial outcomes, operational performance, and long-term partnerships.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients, ensuring their evolving needs are understood and met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customer interactions, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners to support seamless service delivery.
Operational Oversight
  • Lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory control, and distribution for fresh, ambient, and chilled food products.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Monitor and optimise key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Policy & Process Management
  • Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of services and programs, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all sites.
  • Lead the development and administration of budgets, including resource planning and cost control.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead a large-scale operations team (500+ staff), including senior managers and frontline personnel.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and structured development programs.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning, succession management, and talent retention strategies.
Financial & P&L Accountability
  • Take full ownership of the business unit's P&L, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Analyse financial data to inform strategic decisions and operational adjustments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact financial or operational performance.
Expert Advisory & Sector Support
  • Provide expert guidance to the Sector Head and executive leadership on logistics trends, operational challenges, and strategic opportunities.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and support the development of new business models and service offerings.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12-15 years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale operations (300-500+ staff) at a senior level (General Manager or above).
  • Strong background in retail logistics, with hands-on experience in managing fresh, ambient, and chilled food supply chains.
  • Demonstrated success in managing P&L responsibilities and driving financial performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site in Mahachai, Samut Sakhon.
