Notice Period: Up to 30 daysAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Visa & Immigration Lawyer with in-depth expertise in Thai corporate immigration law to join our team in Bangkok. You will act as the companys subject matter expert for all Thai immigration matters, managing end-to-end visa and work permit processes, ensuring compliance with Thai law, and enabling the smooth relocation and mobility of our workforce.This is a high-impact role where you will collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to deliver effective immigration solutions while staying ahead of regulatory changes.Key ResponsibilitiesCase Management & AdvisoryOversee the complete Thai immigration process, including Non-Immigrant B Visas, BOI-sponsored visas, SMART Visas, and other relevant permits.Advise employees, managers, and HR on immigration eligibility, procedures, required documentation, and processing timelines.Prepare, review, and file visa and work permit applications, extensions, and re-entry permits with accuracy and compliance.Handle complex cases, including government inquiries, appeals, and inadmissibility issues.Thailand Immigration Strategy & ComplianceDevelop and maintain internal immigration policies that align with company objectives and Thai regulations.Monitor changes to the Thai Immigration Act, Alien Working Act, and BOI regulations, and advise stakeholders accordingly.Ensure compliance with all local laws, maintaining accurate corporate and employee immigration records.Conduct internal audits to verify compliant onboarding and right-to-work documentation.Stakeholder CollaborationServe as the primary legal point of contact for all Thai corporate immigration matters.Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams to support talent mobility strategies.Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance understanding of Thai immigration processes across the business.Qualifications & RequirementsLicensed lawyer, registered to practice in Thailand.5 - 8 years of focused experience in Thai corporate immigration law, either in a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.Hands-on expertise with the Thai immigration system, including the Ministry of Labour, Immigration Bureau, and BOI.Proven track record managing a high-volume immigration caseload.Strong analytical ability to interpret and apply Thai legal regulations in practical business contexts.Fluent in both Thai and English (written and verbal).High professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive personal information.
