
Senior Engineer, Slider Process Technology Development - Bar Mounting Automation Process Development

- Lead the design, development, and validation of automated systems and mechanical tooling for the bar mounting process.
- Drive end-to-end automation projects from concept through proof-of-concept, pilot trials, and final deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, and Quality) to define requirements and ensure seamless integration into production.
- Conduct risk assessments, feasibility studies, and process capability evaluations to ensure robustness and scalability.
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, optimize material flow, and improve throughput and yield.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in automation, robotics, and precision assembly.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotic & Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience in automation, tooling design, and process integration.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across development, production, and engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills and accountability in driving tasks to closure under fast-paced timelines.
- Effective communicator in both written and spoken English.
- Experience in process development and integration in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with advanced material properties and their impact on tooling and automation.
- Proficiency in CAD design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and basic automation control systems (e.g., PLCs, motion control).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
