Job PositionCommissioning Engineer - Data Center BusinessJob Responsibilities
Lead and execute commissioning activities for data center systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, BMS, and other critical infrastructure.
Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, checklists, and reports in alignment with project milestones.
Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and handover.
Review system design, installation drawings, and submittals to verify compliance with commissioning requirements.
Conduct pre-functional and functional performance tests to verify system integrity, reliability, and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues and document deficiencies with follow-up corrective actions.
Ensure that all commissioning documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted to relevant stakeholders.
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
Work closely with OEM vendors, contractors, consultants, and client teams during the commissioning process.
Comply with all safety and quality standards, company procedures, and project-specific protocols.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning or start-up of MEP systems, preferably in mission-critical facilities or data centers.
Knowledge of data center standards and protocols such as Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, and TIA-942.
Experience with testing and commissioning software and tools is an advantage.
Strong understanding of building systems, controls, and energy management.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
